Wat Phayak Intharam

Wat Phayak Intharam was also not open when we visited. However the most important structure was the Chedi outside, which we were able to visit. The local people call this temple Wat Chedi. It is about 130 years old but unfortunately nobody seemed to be around to give us any more information. Approaching almost 1000 temples on this web site, it was at this and the next temple where we decided that we would no longer cover any temple which were closed and where we would either not meet anyone or where we would meet unwilling people to help us. Consequently our last temple on this short trip in June 2009, Wat Patnam Nok, was not included in our coverage anymore.
