Wat Bang Ka Pom

Wat Bang Ka Pom is famous as a market for Buddha amulets of the highly revered monk Luang Phor Khong. You will meet "experts" trading amulets and while we visited one man from Bangkok was frantically looking through boxes of amulets with his magnifying glass. Besides that the temple has several statues of Luang Phor Khong and seemed to be building an even bigger statue and a park around it. There are several Viharn buildings around the temple and one older Viharn with round doors and windows contained an old footprint of Buddha, niches which contained Buddha images and interesing stucco work.
