Wat Mueang Mai

On our cross country tours through Samut Songkhran province we had to cross many small bridges over the extensive canal system in the province. Somehow we came across Wat Mueang Mai and stopped to have a look. Unfortunately the old Chinese-style Ubosot was closed but the newer brick building was open. We admired the modern mural paintings on the walls, which showed some of the most drastic scenes of "hell" we had seen.
