Wat Phra Thong 

Less touristy than Wat Chalong, this temple is located in the middle of Phuket Island, so it requires one to undertake a little trip away from the beaches. Legend has it that the highly referred Buddha image was found with only the top visible above the ground to which a little boy tied his buffalo. Today accordingly, only the upper part of the Buddha image is shown.
