Wat Rajburana

We had long seen Wat Rajburana but never stopped to visit it because it is located right in the middle of traffic coming across two bridges, Memorial bridge and Phra Pok Klao bridge. Between two temple ceremonies in Wat Anongkaram we took time to walk across the bridges to visit the temple, which can be seen from far because of it's large white Prang. The impressive Ubosot was unfortunately closed, so we missed our chance to pay respect to the main Buddha image Phra Buddha Maharajprasart. The temple feels more like a huge parking lot with security guards blowing their wistles moving cars around.
