Phra Phutthamonthon 

This was a very special trip we undertook. My "monk-friend" took another monk, a novice and me to Phra Phuttamonthon, a Sukhothai-style standing Buddha statue, which is supposedly the world's largest standing Buddha image. It is a very beautiful statue and with the surrounding park it is a perfect day trip from Bangkok to make merit.
