The Ancient City of Wiang Kum Kam Wat Ku Khao
Wat Ku Khao was the first monument we visited of the ancient city. It is located on the old highway 106 from Chiang Mai to Lamphun, which is in itself worthwhile a trip. The name of the temple means white Chedi, though it is now just a brick ruin. A 3 tiered square base of the Lanna-style chedi is the most obvious monument to see today.
